Poster Guidelines

All poster presenters are required to print a physical poster to display in Buenos Aires. Additionally, you can upload a virtual poster to the virtual Poster Gallery as early as June 10. Each virtual poster will have a discussion forum for participants to ask questions and provide comments.

Please review the conference policies and code of conduct that apply to all participants.

Virtual Posters

Virtual posters are optional. Presenters can upload a .pdf poster file.

Important Requirements for .pdf Posters:

  • Text and graphics on the poster should be in English.
  • Limit of 5MB file size
  • Recommended quality: 300 DPI
  • Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
  • Landscape (16:9 / 1920 x 1080) is recommended for the best viewing experience, but Portrait is also acceptable.
  • Large and bold print is more visually pleasing virtually for the viewer.
  • URLs may be included as plain text for reference, but hyperlinks will not be clickable in the Poster Gallery. Embedded audio or video files are not supported.
  • Poster upload will begin June 10. You will receive an e-mail with instructions for how to upload.

Printed Posters

All posters must be printed; paper is recommended (do not print on canvas or fabric). Make sure posters are printed portrait orientation.

All text and graphics on posters should be in English.

Follow the dimensions below to ensure your poster fits on the display board.

Preferred Size (Custom):

  • Height = 915mm
  • Width = 841mm

Accepted Size (Standard A0):

  • Standard A0 size
  • Height = 1189mm
  • Width = 841mm

For all posters:

  • Tape will be provided (double sided)
  • Posters will be hung vertically (portrait)

Poster Sessions

There are (4) scheduled poster sessions during the conference. You will receive your assigned date/time and your poster number via e-mail. Your poster will be displayed for half of the conference, either Sunday/Monday or Tuesday/Wednesday.

IMPORTANT: Posters are displayed in groups based on theme. For your poster to be included within your theme, you must be registered and paid by June 1. This is a hard deadline. Registrations or payments after this date mean your poster will be placed based on availability, likely not within theme, and your abstract will appear in an appendix of the abstract book.

Poster Timeline

  • May 24: Poster submission deadline extended!
  • May 11: Deadline for oral presenters to be registered and paid
  • June 1: Deadline for poster presenters to be registered and paid to receive a board assignment within your theme and be listed in the abstract book
  • June 10: Virtual poster upload is available
  • June 21: Begin hanging printed posters at CEC; based on your Poster Session
  • June 21 - 24: Poster Presentations
  • September 30: Virtual posters will remain viewable online through September 30
